icon Worlds

Congrats to our level six team the Bee-lievers for qualifying for Worlds!!  Our team will head to Orlando April 28th to represent the United States and compete against several other countries!!  The team of 23 has 13 members that are made up of SOT alumni.  It has been so exciting to see these kids come back and cheer together one more time.  Our oldest alumni graduated in 2003.  We can't wait to represent Tyler in a competition that has over 35 countries competing.  We know this will be such a life changing event for these kids.  Congrats Bee-lievers, we are so proud of you!!

icon Alumni at Bowl games

Spirit of Tyler is happy to announce that we had five of our alumni participate in Bowl Games this year.

Malori Wofford and Megan Phillips both attened the Rose Bowl  in Pasadena, California this season with the University of Texas.  Malori is a sophmore and is a cheerleader on the University of Texas Coed cheerleading squad.  Megan is a Junior and is a member of the University of Texas Pom squad. Malori was a six year member of SOT's cheer squad and a Robert E. Lee cheerleader.  Megan was a two year member of SOT's cheer and hip hop teams and she was also a Robert E. Lee cheerleader.  We our so proud of our girls!   HOOK EM HORNS!

Kelsie Berry and Trevius Jones both attended the Feista Bowl this year in Glendale Arizona with Texas Christian University.  Kelsie Berry was a five year member of the Spirit of Tyler's cheer and hip hop teams and is a freshman on TCU's Coed cheerleading team.  Trevius was a two year member of the Spirit of Tyler Coed cheerleading team and a sophmore offensive lineman football player for TCU.  These two have a unique story because not only were they stunt partners on SOT's coed team, but they both attended Robert E. Lee where Kelsie cheered Trevius on from the sidelines.  Shes still continues to do so today!  GO FROGS!!

Ryan Ross was a four year member of the Spirit of Tyler's coed team and a two year memner of the hip hop team.  Ryan is now cheering on the Mustangs from Southern Methodist University.  Ryan attened the Hawaii Bowl in Honolulu Hawaii this season where the SMU Mustangs defeated Nevada!!  GO SMU!

We are so proud to see our kids still doing what they love and making all of us so proud!  We love and miss you guys!
